Neighborhood Support ProgramSubmit an idea for a neighborhood project & be considered for funding! The NSP program is funded by the City of Cincinnati. The total amount being made available to each neighborhood in 2020 is $6,078. Projects considered for funding must serve the community in some way. Pedestrian Safety Updates

Mt. Auburn submitted input to the Department of Transportation and Engineering (DOTE) regarding priority locations for pedestrian safety improvements. Based on neighborhood feedback, 70 projects across Cincinnati have been awarded — including 6 in Mt Auburn. These are the Mt. Auburn projects listed in the city’s summary:

ZOO: Plant for Pollinators

The Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden is encouraging those involved in gardening to add pollinator-friendly plants to your yard or landscape. This is help bring butterflies and other pollinators to your yard! Birds, bees, butterflies, and other that pollinating plants help cultivate plants that provide the foods we need. Inwood Park Improvements

In 2018, the city of Cincinnati dedicated $500,000 for improvements to Inwood Park in Mt. Auburn. Repairs and Improvements are already underway. Overgrown brush has been cleared, and large portions of walkway have been repaved.
